US-224 British Pattern 1821 Royal Artillery Officers Sword
British Pattern 1821 Royal Artillery Officers sword, with leather field service scabbard. Made by the famous Wilkinson Sword Company and dated 1929 by the Wilkinson serial number on the blade. Presentation etch “Presented to F.A. Wiebkin, R.A. By Officers, W.O.s, & N.C.O.s of Experimental Establishment.” Most of the length of the blade is covered with typical fancy Wilkinson etching, including the arms of the Royal Artillery, the cypher of King George V, and floral decoration. The blade is in outstanding condition with almost all of the bright polish, no edge nicks, and embedded proof slug by Wilkinson. Polished steel hilt with ray skin grip cover and a little wear to hilt surfaces. The leather field service scabbard is complete with leather hangars and has normal wear. Condition I-
