Award certificate for the Treuedienst-Ehrenzeichen. The Faithful Service Honor Award (Treudienstehrenzeichen) was instituted by Hitler in 1938 for civil servants, clerks, and public service workers. This certificate is for the 2nd Class silver version, for 25 years service. The document is printed on heavy paper in A4 size (297mm x 210mm = 11 ½ x 8 1/3 in). The award was to a senior government and building council official in Berlin. It has the facsimile signature of (Otto) Meissner, the state minister Chief of the Reichs Chancellery, along with the impressed stamp of his office. The document is in excellent shape with no holes or tears, with one horizontoal fold across the middle. Condition I-
