Honor Cross of World War I (“Hindenburg Cross”) with swords, Instituted in July 1934 by Reichs President Field Marshall von Hindenburg to honor participants in the World War.  The class with swords was for combatants.  The medal is bronze wash over iron in almost mint condition with no wear. marked G18 on the back Which was probably the mark of a combination of makers. Short clean ribbon.  Condition I
